For me, John’s greatest strength is his ability to assess the whole person.  In other words, emotional intelligence. 

 

When I met John in 2023, I was recently widowed, changing careers and  looking for instruction in strength training. 

John spent two hours and forty minutes understanding me, my needs and my goals. Because I was in a physical job at the time, I asked John to “Push me, but don’t kill me”.  Every time we meet John and I discuss what I need that week and he style flexes to meet my needs. 

 

John also explains in detail, what muscle group we are working and reinforces good form so I prevent injury. 

 

My biggest breakthrough came when I realized where my time was being wasted on things that added no value to my life. Specifically, I gave up all television. As a result, I was getting to the gym 5-6 days a week instead of just 2! 

 

John treats the whole person! Give him a try and expect your life to change for the better.  Be prepared to put in the time and effort to also change your mindset, about how you live your life and care for your body.  You won’t be disappointed!

John (FINISH HIM) Parrish is the most thought provoking and dedicated trainer that I have come to work with thus far. He is amotivater, listener, negotiator all in the name of your health and well being! He will often be selfless when you are in need of a change in routine, as well as a team builder going the extra mile to help you succeed in steps, diet and attitude. I am a work in progress however, I am a better focus rounded person because of him! He is timely and accurate with his health assessment. You will not go wrong!
